[ Story ]

The tenth production of "Cinema Kabuki" where a kabuki stage performance filmed in HD is digitally screened at film theaters. Nakamura Kanzaburo, a famous and popular actor even abroad, passionately plays the part of Hokaibo, a corrupt priest who just cannot give up money or women. One day, Hokaibo goes head over heels for Okumi (Nakamura Senjaku), the daughter of Eirakuya. When learning that Yosuke (Nakamura Kantaro), the assistant manager and lover of Okumi, is looking for the precious treasure "the carp scroll" which was stolen from the Yoshida family in Kyoto, Hokaibo looks for the treasure himself in great haste and creates a great commotion.
