[ Story ]
This ensemble comedy depicts the odd elopement of a 34-year-old teacher and her student. With his films being screened as part of the special programs at the International Film Festival Rotterdam and the Hong Kong International Film Festival, up-and-coming director Ishii Yuya has been gathering great acclaim from both inside and outside Japan. Tanaka Akemi (Meguro Maki) teaches English at a high school located out in the country -- where there is nothing but mountains and fields as far as the eye can see. Everyday leaves her feeling incomplete and worried... until she runs away with Norio (Morioka Ryu), far from one of her brightest pupils.
