[ Story ]
Drama based on the eponymous novel by singer-songwriter Sada Masashi. The film freshly portrays the recovery of the youths held hostage by wounds in their past through the peculiar work of cleaning up people's belongings who have ended their lives alone. Script and direction by Zeze Takahisa, recipient of two awards at the Berlin International Film Festival for Heaven's Story. Nagashima Kyohei (Okada Masaki) shut down emotionally in response to troubles he encountered during high school, and with his father's help gets a job at a company that deals with the belongings of deceased people. He is drawn to his senior colleague Yuki (Eikura Nana) who carries her own emotional wounds.
