His best-known work is "Wonderful World Travel," a travelogue TV program that continued for 24 years. Documentary film about the famed producer Ushiyama Junichi, who forged a new era and produced some 2,400 documentaries from the early years of TV. He passed away at the age of 67 in 1997, and this film traces his life with testimony from 22 people who knew him. Touches on the passion of broadcasters from yesteryear, while also shedding light on various problems within the industry. Conceived by documentary director Sato Makoto, who passed away in 2007, and completed by students in Sato's seminar at the Film School of Tokyo.
