[ Story ]
Live-action adaptation of Obata Yuki's romantic comic, which has sold over 10 million copies. An obsessed girl and shadowed boy are dogged by a fate of near misses. The second installation, which earned 1.8 billion yen at the box office, dramatically depicts the protagonists as they enter adulthood. Yano (Ikuta Toma) has moved to Tokyo, and Nanami (Yoshitaka Yuriko) enrolls at a university in Tokyo to follow him. But, although Yano had pledged his future to Nanami, he disappears without a trace. Several years later, Nanami works at a publishing company and begins living with Yano's close friend Takeuchi (Takaoka Sosuke).
