Official selection for the 17th Busan International Film Festival. Director Uchida Nobuteru, highly acclaimed for Love Addiction, depicts two women who lose their peace of mind due to the Tohoku earthquake and tsunami.
Tokyo-suburb resident Saeko (Sugino Kiki) is divorced from her husband, and is raising their young daughter on her own. Fearing airborne radioactive materials from the nuclear power plant, on her own she measures the radiation levels in the pre-school playground, which causes controversy among those around her. Meanwhile, her neighbor Yukako (Shinohara Yukiko) is also in a state of crisis over the radioactivity.
