A spin-off from the popular detective series. Director Hashimoto Hajime, who has displayed his outstanding ability to effortlessly switch between directing styles since the beginning of the series, depicts a financial crisis while incorporating compelling action scenes.
At a murder scene, Tokyo Metropolitan Police detective Itami (Kawahara Kazuhisa) meets cyber crime investigator Iwatsuki (Tanaka Kei). The victim was a banker who had been under suspicion for leaking classified information. Itami and Iwatsuki begin to investigate, but are hindered by pressure from an unseen source.
