[ Story ]
Tetsuya (Kubozuka Yosuke) becomes a doctor to cure his childhood sweetheart, Emi (Kuroki Meisa), of heart disease. Just before they get married, Tetsuya hears that a childhood friend, Don (Edison Chen) has escaped from prison. Don was imprisoned for starting a forest fire which killed Emi's father seven years ago. Tetsuya has always feared that Don might take Emi from him. Emi senses this and starts to feel uneasy. Don turns up, but leaves almost immediately when he sees the effect he is having on the marriage. Tetsuya is shamed by Don's selflessness and confesses that it was actually he who started the forest fire. Emi and Tetsuya go looking for Don, but another fire breaks out, just like the one seven years ago. Don goes into the fire to rescue a boy in the forest, but he dies. Tetsuya saves the dying boy's life by transplanting Don's heart into the boy.
