This thrill-laden, unusual courtroom drama focuses on a judge and a defendant who are engaged to be married. Received its world premiere as an official selection of the 2013 Raindance Film Festival.
Megumi (Kojima Hijiri), the fiancee of elite judge Kano (Shioya Shun / Sugimoto Shigeru), is reunited with her former lover Yamaoka (Kawamoto Junichi). They meet repeatedly in secret, until Yamaoka dies in an accident. When Megumi is indicted, Kano volunteers to judge her.
