[ Story ]
An animated film from director Iwai Shunji, who has created an original story that serves as a prequel to his own coming-of-age film hana and alice, made in 2004. It presents a delicate depiction of the meeting of two young women. The two lead actresses from hana and alice and other cast members return as voice actors.
Alice (voice: Aoi Yu) transfers to Ishinomori Gakuen Junior High School, and becomes intrigued by a rumor that "a Judas was killed by Judas's in 9th grade, class 2 last year." She learns that her classmate Hana (voice: Suzuki Anne), a shut-in who lives in a creepy flower garden, may know what really happened, so she goes to meet her.
