Coming-of-age live-action adaptation of Sakisaka Io's romance comic. Poignant yet refreshing portrayal of the volatile emotions of susceptible high school students. Director Hiroki Ryuichi excels at depicting fragile emotional states.
One day, high school first-year student Ninako (Arimura Kasumi) runs into her classmate Ren (Fukushi Sota) on the train after school. After that, they start having casual conversations, and Ninako falls for Ren's unaffected kindness. However, Ren has been going out with Mayuka (Sato Arisa), a girl two years his senior, since junior high school.
