A drama about the intersecting memories of staff and patrons of Cinefuku Daikokuza, an actual cinema in Fukuyama City, Hiroshima that closed down in 2014. It was written, directed, and edited by Tokigawa Hideyuki, a prolific television documentary maker who made his theatrical film debut with Radio Love.
The Daikokuza is about to lower the curtain on its 122-year history. One night, Asuka (Fujiwara Reiko), who has only just begun working there, encounters a mysterious elderly man on the premises. As many people lament the cinema's closure on its final day, the man appears before Asuka once more...
