[ Story ]

Documentary by Doi Toshikuni, whose numerous films include The Town of Iitate: Radiation and the Return Home. "Part One: House of Sharing" brings together the voices of former military sex slaves, and "Part Two: Kang Duk-Kyung" presents in-depth coverage of one woman's final years.
"Nanumu" (sharing) is the name of a house in Korea. There, "halmoni" (grandmas) who were sexual slaves for the Japanese army live together in mutual support. The youngest resident Kang Deok-yeong draws pictures illustrating her past while struggling with late-stage lung cancer.
