Well-known through anime and live-action adaptations, Nagai Go's action manga once again hits screens in a new live-action film created from an original script. A beautiful android who feels emotions throws herself into a battle with the fate of humanity at stake. Lead actress, Nishiuchi Mariya, shows off her physical skills in the fight scenes.
In the near future, humanity is dominated by artificial intelligence. Cities are divided between a bottom level, where many poor people live and are tormented by pollution discharged by the rich living in the upper level. Amid this state of affairs, Cutie Honey, a.k.a. Kisaragi Hitomi (Nishiuchi), plummets to the bottom level from the upper level.
