[ Story ]

This is the story of a group of classmates, thirty-three girls and only seven boys, after their graduation from college.
Mieko (Yoshinaga Sayuri) lives with her divorced mother who runs a bar. Her ambition is to be a successful author.
Kazuko (Toake Yukiyo) begins to work in the office of her uncle who is the president of a trading company.
The two girls become entangled in many interesting situations; both love the same boy; one of their friends who is not yet married is living with a girl who is pregnant and all get together to help them with the birth of the baby. Mieko's mother decides to marry Kazuko's uncle after his wife dies of cancer, and two young teenagers scheme to marry off Kazuko.
Then, Mieko's book is finally published, and she tells Kazuko at her book party that she is happy to see her friend engaged, but to be careful that she does not steal her fiancee.
