Iizuka Ken, who directed Drops in Your Hand, adapts to film the debut work of novelist, Yamamoto Yukihisa. It depicts with plenty of affection and humor two comediennes' love and friendship amid a life resembling a standup routine composed of a colorful cast of characters.
27-year-old Hitomi (Shimizu Fumika) and Akako (Matsui Rena) have been a standup comic duo for five years. Practically without work, they spend restless days sticking their nose into neighborhood troubles, but an unforeseen chance happens upon them on account of friction with more seasoned comedians.
