[ Story ]
Film adaptation of the poetry collection "The Tokyo Night Sky is Always the Densest Shade of Blue" by poet Saihate Tahi. Direction and screenplay by Ishii Yuya of The Great Passage.
Mika (Ishibashi Shizuka) is a nurse who balances her work dealing with the deaths of patients with a part time job at a "girls bar". Construction site day laborer Shinji (Ikematsu Sosuke) hangs out with Tomoyuki (Matsuda Ryuhei) and his other coworkers, but he can't seem to shake his vague feelings of anxiety. One day, Shinji goes to a girls bar with Tomoyuki and his pals, and there he meets Mika.
