Drama helmed by the internationally acclaimed director Kobayashi Masahiro. Stars Nakadai Tatsuya, who also collaborated with Kobayashi on Haru's Journey and Japan's Tragedy.
Kuwabatake Chokitsu (Nakadai) has an acting career spanning over five decades, and is afflicted by dementia. Chokitsu is betrayed and sent off to a nursing home by his eldest daughter Yukiko (Harada Mieko) and Yukiko's husband and his own disciple Yukio (Abe Hiroshi). One day, he flees from the nursing home and arranges to meet Nobuko (Kuroki Haru), his daughter from another relationship.
