[ Story ]

A documentary which captures the music of world-renown composer Sakamoto Ryuichi as he goes on a meditative journey. Making his theatrical film directing debut, Stephen Nomura Schible fulfills a five year long thorough coverage of Sakamoto which began in 2012. Additionally, the documentary is also comprised of archived material and private footage. While the images reveal Sakamoto being "completely open", the documentary simultaneously demonstrates the captivating power of music and sound. This is a direct look at Sakamoto's musical quest as he reminisces on past journeys and creates a new composition.
