Film animation adaptation of Takeda Ayano's novel "Sound! Euphonium Kitauji High School's Concert Band: Haran no Dainigakusho". Captures fleetingly beautiful moments in the lives of two girls. Helmed by Yamada Naoko, who hails from Kyoto Animation and was highly lauded for A Silent Voice: The Movie.
Best friends Mizore (voice: Tanezaki Atsumi) and Nozomi (voice: Toyama Nao) play the oboe and flute in the Kitauji High School brass band. They have a lot riding on their final competition in high school, but for some reason they can't get into the same groove with their music.
