Samurai comedy based on Komatsu Shigeo's short story collection. An elite samurai runs into trouble when he is ordered to provide questionable services to women after getting on the bad side with his lord. Director Tsuruhashi Yasuo also penned the script and turns multiple short stories into a single warmhearted comedy.
Hironoshin (Abe Hiroshi), a conscientious samurai in the Echigo Nagaoka clan, gets in a jam when an inappropriate remark pisses off his master. He's condemned to 'pick fleas from cats,' which actually means providing sexual services for women as a 'bed partner.' Hironoshin heads off to Edo, without realizing what is really going on.
