[ Story ]

Documenting ex-soldiers and their families, fallen soldiers and their bereaved families, soldiers exposed to depleted uranium, the homeless, the army base victims, and soldiers against war, this extensive documentary reveals the truth of war and the truth of America as a military state. After seven visits to America since 2006, director Fujimoto Yukihisa delivers a challenging piece comprising eight stories and spanning over 8 hours and 14 minutes. Fujimoto takes on a fresh approach by capturing war, not from the front lines, but from inside of American society.
