[ Story ]

Documentary about Kakuta Dairyu, the second temple master at the interdenominational temple Kouganji. Director Yaguchi Masaki trained under the late Ishii Teruo, whose popularity as a director extended overseas as well. Former rock musician Kakuta serves as temple master at Kouganji temple in Fujinomiya City, Shizuoka Prefecture, and forms a band called Gyaatees with three monks in training at the temple who have mental disabilities. However, Kakuta has heart trouble and ends up undergoing long-term hospitalization.
