[ Story ]

Set ten years after the events of Kids Return, a 1996 coming-of-age drama directed by Kitano Takeshi, this film from director Shimizu Hiroshi depicts two former close friends going nowhere who rediscover their lust for life after a chance meeting.
After graduating from high school, Shinji (Hiraoka Yuta) became a professional boxer and Masaru (Miura Takahiro) chose the way of the yakuza, but they have both reached their limit and become frustrated. Ten years after they last met, Shinji has lost his direction in life, Masaru has just been released from prison, and the two are reunited by fate. The smouldering flames in their hearts are reignited...
