[ Story ]
An adaptation of the eponymous novel by author Higuchi Naoya. A cast of upcoming actors, including Ikematsu Sosuke of Ai no Uzu and television series "MOZU", and Hashimoto Ai of The Kirishima Thing, provides a youthful portrayal of the emotions of characters who are no longer children but not quite adults.
High school third year Asai Yoshi (Ikematsu) thinks a lot about Irie An (Hashimoto), who has abruptly left the school. The mature words and actions of his close buddy Hajime (Maeno Tomoya) and female friend Haru (Kobayashi Ryoko) make him increasingly anxious, and eventually spur him to send An a letter.
