An animated movie that picks up where the "Naruto" hit ninja manga series left off. It presents an intense depiction of the struggles of a new generation of ninja, filled with battle scenes. Series creator Kishimoto Masashi penned the screenplay, and also acts as executive producer and character designer.
Boruto (voice: Sanpei Yuko), the son of the Seventh Hokage Naruto (voice: Takeuchi Junko), has grown lonely and resentful of his father for being too busy to spend time with him. One day, when Naruto's rival and close friend Sasuke (voice: Sugiyama Noriaki) returns to Village Hidden in the Leaves, Boruto appeals to him directly to become his apprentice.
