[ Story ]

Filmmaking maestro Kurosawa Kiyoshi, internationally renowned for works including Tokyo Sonata, directs this adaptation of Yumoto Kazumi's 2010 novel. Tender and warm romance about an endless farewell to a loved one. Kurosawa became the first Japanese director to receive the Best Director Prize in the Un Certain Regard section at the 68th Cannes Film Festival.
Yusuke (Asano Tadanobu) is a husband who abruptly returns home after a three-year absence. He informs his wife Mizuki (Fukutsu Eri) that he is dead. The couple embarks on a journey together in search of lost time.
