DOCUMENTARY JAPAN

[ Story ]

Hasegawa Saburo, director of the Best Documentary Award winning JAPAN LIES The Photojournalism of Kikujiro Fukushima, Age 90 at the 67th Mainichi Film Awards, closely follows photojournalist Hirokawa Ryuichi in this documentary.
Hirokawa has covered many of the world's combat zones and disputed regions. His activities are not limited to just reporting, however, and have extended to rescuing wounded children. The film studies the beginnings and fully details the current activities of Hirokawa, who calls places where human dignity is being stolen away "the human battleground."
