The theatrical adaptation of Numata Mahokaru identically titled mystery novel starring Yoshitaka Yuriko, co-starring Matsuzaka Tori and Matsuyama Kenichi. Kumazawa Naoto, who helmed Close Range Love and The Anthem of the Heart, wrote and directed the film.
A diary is discovered in the study of one family's dying father. Within its pages is a passage confessing to a murder. Is it fact or is it fiction? What was it intended for and by whom? At the end of a chain of sadness, what did the murderer, Misako (Yoshitaka), hope for?
