Nakae Yuji of Nabbie's Love directs this documentary about people from Futaba Town in Fukushima Prefecture and the traditional 'bon-uta' dance that they have protected. Futaba Town was devastated by the Great East Japan Disaster, and in 2015 the townspeople were distressed over the threat to the continued existence of 'bon-uta'. However, they learn that the bon dance was cherished as the Fukushima Ondo by Japanese Americans who emigrated from Fukushima to Hawaii a century ago, and it continues to be performed with enthusiasm to this day. The Futaba townspeople head to Maui in Hawaii to see the dance being performed.
