[ Story ]
The maturing of a high-spirited salesman is depicted in this youthful drama directed by Mariko Tetsuya who won the Best Emerging Director Prize at the 69th Locarno Film Festival for Destruction Babies.
Miyamoto Hiroshi (Ikematsu Sosuke), an employee for a stationary manufacturer, is awkward but possesses a stronger sense of justice than most others. He is invited to the home of Nakano Yasuko (Aoi Yu), his superior's business associate at work with whom he has fallen for. While the two dine, Yasuko's ex-boyfriend Yuji (Iura Arata) shows up and gets violent during which Miyamoto proclaims, "I will defend this woman."
