Author Hikita Kunio's essay of the same name about his personal experiences is adapted to this drama. It captures a couple as they are confronted by and overcome male infertility. In the director's chair is Hosokawa Toru of "Golden Orchestra".
49-year-old Hikita Kunio (Matsushige Yutaka) lives happily together with his wife Sachi (Kitagawa Keiko) who is over 12 years younger. Though they did not plan on having children, Sachi reveals she wants to meet Hikita's child. Thus begins their journey to conceive a baby.
