Feature film that adds previously unreleased scenes to the much-discussed TV drama about students and university administration fighting over a dormitory's reconstruction. Script by Watanabe Aya of Josee, the Tiger and the Fish. Directed by Maeda Yuki, who also helmed the TV drama.
An obscurely located dormitory has a history going back a century. The dormitory's social order is run for and by eccentrics, making it a precious place for students. However, the building's rundown condition becomes a problem. A face-off ensues between the university, which wants to rebuild, and students who insist that the dormitory should be renovated and preserved.
