[ Story ]
A film adaptation of Shimamoto Rio's 2012 romance novel, directed by Yasukawa Yuka (her second feature film) and written by Jojo Hideo (On the Edge of Their Seats).
Maeda Aiko (Matsui Rena) is a graduate student who is reluctant to fall in love because of a birthmark on the left side of her face. However, her situation changes when she is interviewed for a book about "people with bruises and injuries on their faces." Due to discussions about making this book into a film, Aiko meets director Tobisaka Outa (Nakajima Ayumu), and gradually becomes attracted to him.
