Film adaptation of the novel of the same title by Matsuura Hisaki, winner of the 123rd Akutagawa Prize. This love story by renowned screenwriter Arai Haruhiko is his fourth film as a director, following It Feels So Good, and incorporates a motif not found in the original story: the "sunset of the pink film industry".
One day during the rainy season, Kutani (Ayano Go), a director in the pink film industry, meets a man called Iseki (Emoto Tasuku), who once aspired to being a scriptwriter. As they converse, they realize that the woman they both loved in the past was the same actress, Kirioka Shoko (Sato Honami).
