[ Story ]

Documentary about the ardor and anguish of freelance writer Hatakeyama Michiyoshi, who has covered elections for 25 years. Directed by Maeda Aki, producer of Why You Can't Be Prime Minister and Kagawa District 1.
Hatakeyama throws himself into pursuing news stories on just two hours of sleep on average. This film delves into Hatakeyama's efforts to interview all 34 candidates in the Tokyo electoral district for the July 2022 upper house election. After having devoted his life to unprofitable election journalism, he decides to retire after covering the Okinawa gubernatorial election in September.
