In Kyoto, the birthplace of the Japanese motion picture, IMAGICA, formerly known as Kyokutou Film Laboratory, was originally founded in 1935 to process the Eastman Kodak films automatically. And since 2000, split off from the company to establish IMAGICA West, we are now specialized in film restoration, video and post-production services. IMAGICA West ensures high-quality customer service by offering both traditional and new techniques, such as film inspection, processing (ex. timing, printig, developing), soundtrack restoring in digital, telecine in SD/HD, optical works, tinting of b/w films, and blow-up from 9.5mm Pathe-Baby to 35mm. And we are also proud of our video services: production coordinating, shooting in SD/HD, CGI, linear/non-linear editing.
