The prequel to director Hori Takahide's sci-fi stop-motion animation JUNK HEAD. It deepens the worldview and depicts a story set 1,042 years before the events of the previous film.
Long ago, humans began developing underground due to a decline in their above-ground habitats. An artificial life form called Mulligan was created as a labor force. However, Mulligan created clones of himself and incited a rebellion against humanity. Consequently, humanity remained above ground, and Mulligan ruled the underground world that had spread across the globe. But then, an anomaly occurred in the underground world...
