[ Story ]
The third feature film release in the new "Diamond and Pearl" series of the Pokémon TV animation, which has legions of fans worldwide. In this final chapter of the trilogy that included Pokémon: The Rise of Darkrai and Pokémon: Giratina and the Sky Warrior, Satoshi and Pikachu go on an adventure that crosses time and space to calm the anger of the legendary Pokémon Arceus, who was once betrayed by the human race. Led by Miwa Akihiro, the cast of guest voice actors give impressively enthusiastic performances.
Satoshi (voiced by Matsumoto Rica) and his friends arrive at the picturesque riverside town of Michina. There they meet the guardian of the local ruins Sheena (voiced by Kitano Kii), who tells them the legend of Arceus, who is said to have created all in existence. In ancient times, Arceus (voiced by Miwa) allowed the human race to use the "Jewel of Life," causing Michina to flourish. After the Jewel was snatched away, Arceus fell into a long sleep. Now that Arceus' rage has finally reached capacity, he awakens and launches an attack on Satoshi and the human race to exact justice.
