[ Story ]
This piece was submitted to the Momo Matsuri Presents Kiss! short film project that highlights up-and-coming female directors, created by the Momo Matsuri film screening group. Formerly working at V-Cinema and TV drama production, Yabe Mayumi graphically portrays the loves and hates of a collapsing family. A family -consisting of a free spirited mother Misato, eldest daughter Miyuki who has lost the ability to speak, and second son Yuto who has the potential to make something of himself- lives in a bleak detached house with a garden full of weeds in the remote countryside. Hirokazu, the eldest son, returns home after leaving several years before, but his homecoming creates friction between the other family members.
