Director Yuyama Kunihiko's 16th feature film, and 3rd film in the Best Wish series. Features the fastest speed battle in the history of Pokémon. Guest voice performances by Takashima Reiko and the comedy duo Heisei Nobushi Kobushi.
Satoshi (voice: Matsumoto Rika) and Pikachu (voice: Ohtani Ikue) get hit by an energy attack from Genesect, a Pokémon created from a 300-million-year-old fossil. They are saved from danger by the Legendary Pokémon Mewtwo (voice: Takashima).
