Documentary delving into the reality of nuclear power plant meltdowns in the US and Japan. Freelance journalist Hori Jun, who formerly was a newscaster with NHK, makes his directorial debut, and also handles the script, camerawork, editing and narration.
The accidents at the Fukushima Daiichi Nuclear Power Station and the Three Mile Island Nuclear Generating Station and Santa Susana Field Laboratory in the US were all catastrophic meltdowns. The film confronts viewers with the nitty-gritty reality of these accidents that must not be forgotten.
