[ Story ]
New Zealand-born director Heath Cozens' documentary covers Japan's professional wrestling organization for the disabled, "Doglegs". Centered around its star wrestler, Sambo Shintaro, the film shows the fluctuating joys and sorrows of their friends and families.
For 20 years, Sambo Shintaro, who has cerebral palsy, has battled the able-bodied "Antithesis" Kitajima in, "Doglegs", a renegade Tokyo pro-wrestling league, the disabled battle the able-bodied in the name of smashing stereotypes. Set to retire and desiring to settle down with the woman he loves, Shintaro enters the ring for his final showdown with his greatest rival, Kitajima.
