Director Hanabusa Tsutomu, who has had a hand in numerous manga-based films, adapts to live-action the identically titled manga by Wakui Ken who is known for "Shinjuku Swan" among others. The story depicts a man living a sullen life who goes back in time to redo his life differently.
Takemichi (Kitamura Takumi) is a job-hopping part timer living in a rundown apartment. He finds out his girlfriend from his hooligan school days and her younger brother were murdered by a villainous gang known as "Tokyo Manji". The next day, Takemichi is also pushed off a train station platform by someone, but somehow ends up going back ten years in the past to his student days.
