[ Story ]

A live-action adaptation of one of bestselling author Arikawa Hiro's most famous works, which has already been made into manga and animated television series. It depicts the battles of a self-defense organization that protects freedom of reading, as well as the romance between a hard-nosed instructor and a female agent. Screened at film festivals overseas including the 2013 Fantasia International Film Festival.
In 2019, media censorship is legitimized by the state. Iku (Eikura Nana) becomes a member of the Library Defense Force, an organization created to combat literary suppression. She receives rigorous training from Dojo (Okada Junichi), her roughneck instructor.
