Work from Anime Tamago 2017, which emerged from the Young Animator Training Project initiated by the Agency for Cultural Affairs in 2010. Produced by Nippon Animation, the studio behind the "Chibi Maruko-chan" series.
A gentle and family-loving girl named Hana (voice: Tamano Runa) lives in Kikyogahara in Shiojiri, Shinshu. One day, the itinerant Natsugawa Genzaemon Troupe shows up in her village. The troupe gets a rapturous reception from the villagers, but then one of their members finds a favorite food amongst the celebratory offerings and accidentally turns into a fox.
