Three nursing students—Sumi, Atsuko and Misao—return to Nagasaki due to air raid school closures. Their peaceful days end abruptly when an atomic bomb strikes on August 9th, 1945 at 11:02 AM. In a city transformed into hell, these young, inexperienced girls strive to fulfill their duties as nurses, fighting to save lives while facing countless deaths.
