A documentary directed by Ryo Takeuchi of The Yangtze River fame. A joint Japanese-Chinese reporting team conducted thorough interviews with more than 100 abandoned children and their families.
In 1945, amidst the ravages of World War II, thousands of young children living in China's former Manchuria were separated from their parents and became stateless "nameless children." Their suffering continued, and these wounds were passed down to their children and grandchildren. Eighty years later, their story of identity continues to unfold as they search for the answer to "Who am I?"
