[ Story ]

A drama exploring the theme of "eating disorders" in a society obsessed with appearance. Directed by Iwamatsu Akira, a former elementary school teacher, the film took 12 years to complete.
Saki (Ishikawa Nonoka), a university student, harbors a deep-seated loneliness. One day, she encounters the beautiful Rena (Yamaguchi Sayo) on campus and is instantly captivated by her. Saki develops a desire to become thin and beautiful like Rena and be loved by everyone, but the relationship between them deteriorates. The traumatized Saki repeatedly binge-eats and purges due to the stress, leading to an eating disorder.
