[ Story ]
Masunari Koji, who entered the limelight for the TV animation series Kamichu! directs his first feature-length film, a young adult fiction piece. The film vividly depicts the wild adventures of five elementary school students from the countryside, who are invited to travel through the universe one summer. Natsuki (voice: Kurosawa Tomoyo) and her friends meet up at school for the usual summer camp. However, on the hillside they find a huge mysterious crop circle and an injured dog, who turns out to be Pochi Rickman (Fujiwara Keiji), an alien from outer space. To thank them for treating his injuries, Pochi tells them he will grant their wishes.
